Overall, the fishing is still OK, but the billfish catches continue to be low. High boat for billfish was the "Fish Cabo I", with 2 billfish for 2 days fishing, along with the only wahoo for the week. Overall counts for 39 days fished reflected 5 stripers, all released, 4 roosterfish, 72 dorado and 64 yellowfin tuna.

Cabo Climate: Sunny, clear skies and warm weather, temps from 67 nights to 93 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Cooler waters on the Pacific side, down to 69 degrees. Warms up again just a few miles outside the Jaime Bank to 73. From Cabo to the Gorda Banks, temps range from 73 and rise to 76.

Best Fishing Area: Billfish are scattered and no concentration. Same for the dorado, with most being taken in the 3-5 miles off the shoreline in the Sea of Cortez. Yellowfin tuna mostly from the Pacific side, outside the Jamie Bank.

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait a must for the billfish and also working well on the drop back for dorado, too. Tuna feathers for the yellowfin, which are running with the porpoise.

Live Bait Supply: Remains plentiful for all boats.
