http://www.sportfishingreport.comOur 2009 SFR charter aboard Steve Kelly's Island Tak was a memorable trip as nine guys with high hopes for exotics took the rail. We covered a lot of ground and metered some fish, however getting them to bite was another story. The recent hot bite brought many fishermen to our local islands and it felt as though the fish were onto us. There were even several spear fishermen chasing these fish around trying to get a good selective shot at them. With the tremendous pressure on the fish, they were very skittish even though we were fishing with some of the best Seabass fishermen on the water! We saw a few schools of fish and threw everything we had at them. We fished hard and had a good day with our friends aboard the Island Tak. John Gee was the luck angler who hit a nice White Seabass toward the end of our trip to take the day's glory. Congratulations to him! Many thanks to the anglers who signed up for our SFR charter and the Crew of the Island Tak for another fabulous day on the water. That's the word on the water, tight lines!
