The fishing has been very good this past week. All over the lake. The thunder and lightning that was over most of the County this week never materialized up here. Some clouds and wind but that's all. The Bass are still out there and a few are being caught.

Trout Bait: Power Bait, nightcrawlers, wax worms

Best Spots: T Dock, Lone Pine, West Finger Jetty

Best Lures: Kastmaster, anything gold.

Notable:

- Bobby Cobo of El Cajon got a 6 1/2 lb. Rainbow off the West Finger Jetty. Ubknown what he was using.
- Brianna Binns, age 10, of Desert Hills, AZ pulled in a 5 lb. trout at Lone Pine. She used a gold Spoon Lure.
- Dick and Steve Franck of El Cajon each limited out with a total of 10 trout. The largest was 4 1/4 lb. Location was the South T Dock. Nightcrawlers and Power Bait.
- Jeff Carmen of Julian got a nice 3 1/2 lb. trout using Crawlers and marshmallows from the shoreline.
` - Michele Farnsworth of Diamond Bar, a 2 1/2 lb. trout at Lone Pine using a nightcrawler.
- Riley Meyers, age 5 of La Mesa got 2 trout that each weighed in at 2 pounds. He was using Power Bait.

Jess Ranch, of Apple Valley, stocked 1200 pounds of nice trout, with some big ones sprinkled in, last Monday and DFG stocked us with about 1600 pounds on Wednesday. The lake is full of fish just waiting for you to come up and do some catching..
