We returned home this morning with a beautiful load of Bluefin. We started our day with a good sample of flat falling around three in the morning. Once first light came around the Bluefin took a quick break but we located them around 0730 and it was an impressive amount of fish we were seeing. We were able to keep busy on 40 to 60# fish for most of the day. We had success hooking these fish on fly lined baits, sinker rigs and flatfalls all throughout the day. We also had great Yellowtail fishing on kelps to boot. Jackpot winner for the trip goes to Esper Kanaan with a 61# Bluefin Tuna. We are out again tomorrow on a 3 day trip. We will check in later.
