Good morning from Eagle Lake! Woohoo!! Great fishing! Had to dodge some surface algae on the west side this morning but it was doable! Trout for us (kayaks, trolling) we’re 2-7 ft deep. Early I did have action on trolling flies…cinnamon leech & flo orange in 2 to 6ft of water but they were already starting to move out by sun up. Soooo… 23-45ft of water but still high…4-7’. 5 outta 6 by 7am & done. When I moved out to deeper water I put on my favorite spoon the Red/Gold 1/4oz Thomas Buoyant & 45 seconds later… fish on! 4 on Tommy B. Sis, Merry Jo Rembold got em on rainbow trout flicker shad (2”) and red/gold. Same depths. Surface temps showing between 57.4 and 59.2F from 56F on Tuesday. All sorts of lures were working. Tomorrow is another day!!!
