Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

Checking in from Day 2 of 3 Day trip. We had really good fishing last night. Limits of Bluefin on Day 1. We haven’t caught a whole lot today, we caught some in the early morning hours, but we have seen a good sign of bigger fish. We have caught 8 fish since 7 am and every one of them are over 100 pounds, the biggest one tapped out at 185 pounds. We have about 100 Bluefin on the boat for the trip and need 4 more for limits today and we have 2 hooked up. Things are going well and the weather is beautiful.
