Since the opening of the August 1 Salmon and Trout fishing I have been fishing trout on the upper section out of Redding .The fishing is awesome we are catching 15 to 30 dailey with some of the fish in the 22 inch range and surprisingly a 28 Brown trout! Since 1988 fishing on the river this was my 6th Brown trout on the the Sacramento River .I will continue to fish for both King Salmon and Big Rainbows all season .Remember the Steelhead will start showing up soon !Call for openings 530-515-5951
