Captain Mike Loust checked in from the Tomahawk out of Fishermans Landing in San Diego CA.

We are having good fishing today and have a nice load of bait. We picked up 20 30-40lbs Bluefin Tuna.  Good fishing drifting off the edge. We lost quite a bit due to lite line and and to heavy of a drag. Bring a 60 pound rod and 25 pound test. We are gonna keep the kite bite going, we’ve caught 7 right now on the kite. It’s been pretty good. We caught a 140 pounder on the California flies.

We have 8 fish over 150 and 20 around the 30-40 pounds so far.
