Our first 1.5 Day open party trip of the season was a success!We landed 41 beautiful grade Bluefin Tuna on the Thunderbird, despite the heavy losses in current and breeze in the morning. Although our crew searched hard for larger Bluefin, they did not find any during their trip. Overall great trip & we’re back at it again tonight!

Capt. Jeff’s reccomended tackle: 25-50# bait set up, #1-1/0 circle hooks, and matching flourocarbon leader material. Please leave the bass setups and light spinning setups at home. To be safe a 80-100# heavy jig or sinker rig setup with a 250-250+ gram knife jig, flat fall, or something similar with a 150-300# leader in case we get a shot at larger fish.
