Reminder of the new regulations this year. The lake will not close to fishing and is open all year long now. I have a message into the Topaz Lodge to see if they will be holding their annual fishing derby on January 1st 2022.

: Eastern Sierra Fishing Report
Caples Lake: The browns come in closer to shore to feed
Red Lake: Fishing has been very slow
Woods Lake: Closed for the year
Blue Lake Lower: The lake is closed for the season
Burnside Lake: Road scheduled to close any day
West Carson River (CA): The river is up a little and the flows are moving
East Carson River (CA): The river is running good and the fishing has been very good
Indian Creek Reservoir: The entire area is still closed by BLM due to the Tamarack Wildfire

Woods Lake: Closed for the season
Blue Lake Lower: PG&E has closed the lake for the season due to safety concerns
West Carson River (CA): The water levels are very low
East Carson River (CA): The river is running low and is very fishable
Indian Creek Reservoir: Closed until restrictions have lifted
Topaz Lake: The lake level has dropped considerably
Heenan Lake : Open until the end of November 30th
Pyramid Lake: October 1st is opening day for the fall season/winter season
