The Nestucca is still high and off color

The wild coho fishery on the Nestucca and Little Nestucca Bay closed after Oct. 13. There is NO retention of wild coho (including jacks) in North coast bays or rivers for the remainder of 2021.

The Nestucca is still high and off color as of this writing; if the predictions are accurate it should be high, but fishable, this weekend and dropping into “prime” shape early next week. There are still some bright Chinook available, although the majority of the run is now on the spawning grounds and above the fishery.
