Regardless of the water clarity, and it is cloudy, bass are eating shad near shore in shallow water. Fishing has been good and consistent all day long. This is Float 'N Fly time!

Hat Creek: Not much to report other than the weather has been very nice up in the Hat Creek valley
Sacramento River - Lower: As time marches on we are seeing a gradual improvement on the visibility
Baum Lake: Midges in the morning are always a good bet
Iron Canyon Reservoir: Could be a good destination to hook a ton of rainbows
Lewiston Lake: Weather has been good and the fishing on Lewiston Lake has been as well
McCloud Reservoir: No recent reports from this mountain lake
Pyramid Lake: Look for things to pic up with the weather changing next week

McCloud River: Visibility on the lower end of the McCloud River is beginning to show signs that it will be very good soon
Pit River: Releases from Lake Britton Dam into Pit 3 continue at or above 1,800 CFS
Trinity River: Numbers of fish remain steady
Sacramento River - Upper: The river comes up quickly and just as fast clears and fishes well
