Just takes one big storm cycle.
Now we’re sitting at about 150 % of average snowfall for the Truckee River drainage. Of course we need more, and next week looks to provide some more rain and snow. It’s amazing how quick things can change in Tahoe. Can we get out of the drought? There’s a good possibility we can. Every friggin meteorologist painted a doom and gloom Winter for Tahoe, but as we stand now, they were all wrong. Mother Nature does her own thing.
Flows have largely stayed the same on the CA side. Flows have bumped up a couple 100 cfs out East on the lower river. Good fishing flows.
Cold, could warm up next week if we get a tap of subtropical moisture. Feels like an old fashioned December in Truckee.
