The Nestucca River has a wild broodstock hatchery run, meaning the hatchery steelhead here are from wild origin. As such they mimic the wild run timing which peaks now through March. This will be one on the best bets for hatchery winter steelhead for the remainder of the season. The Nestucca keeps a little more color than other basins during low water, but conditions are still low enough to make for challenging fishing. The lower River (below First bridge) will be the best chance to catch bright fish, although there are steelhead throughout the fishery.
