Bruce Smith docked Shogun at Fisherman's Landing September 29 after a six-day Accurate charter with 19 anglers. The Accurate company put numerous rod and reel combinations on the boat for the trip, and anglers approached Jack Nilsen on the dock afterward to say they enjoyed using the products. Skipper Smith used some himself.

"Hands down," said Smith, "Accurate makes the finest reels on the market."

Smith said he used the new BX2 600 model with 60-pound line and 80-pound backing on it for tuna and yellowtail on the trip.

"I got big yellowtail with it, and I got tuna on The Ridge," he said.
