The Outrider out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA called in with with us today.

Calling in a wrap up report for our 1.5 Day fishing adventure. We departed on Friday, got off the dock a little later than the other boats. We rolled into the Tuna grounds at around 2:30 and located a few schools and landed 1-2 fish there in the dark. Good sign of fish out there.

Gray light came and we were on a nice school. If you had a fly lined bait on  25-30 pound test that was money. We ended up getting the job done around 7 AM. Fish were splashing and boiling around the bait.

We went looking for some pattys next for some Yellowtail.

We finished the trip off with limits of Bluefin Tuna and 20 Yellowtail in the 8-12 pound range with a couple of 15 pounders.

Overall being April 2 it was a really fun day of fishing.

We have a trip departing on Tuesday for a 1.5 Day, we need 6 spots reserved and we will run it.
