The East is running at about 35cfs right now. We’ve had some very mixed reports from the Nevada side of the river lately, some anglers are reporting really good days with 15+ fish caught per day while other anglers are reporting much slower days with only 1 or 2 fish caught per day. The successful anglers we’ve spoken with have been doing the best with small nymphs like psycho’s, zebra midges, soft hackles, perdigon nymphs and the like. We haven’t heard any news about streamers or dries lately. The weather is still fairly cold overall with night time temps in the 20’s, it looks like the daytime highs are supposed to be getting up into the high 50’s or more this week so this may very well help out the fishing. The California side opens up this coming Saturday so hopefully the water temps will increase just a bit and the fishing will be great!
