The Fortune called in with an update form their 1.5Day trip with 39 Bluefin Tuna. 23 of their fish are between 100lb-200lbs. The rest of their fish are between 30lb to 80lbs.

The boats are starting to report seeing bigger Bluefin up to 200#. Make sure you bring your Heavy gear. If you don't have heavy gear make sure you rent it here at Fisherman's Landing. ( Fisherman's Landing boat only)
The Liberty called in with 62 Bluefin Tuna and 24 Yellowtail for 31 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip.
Pegasus returned with limits of Bluefin (40) @40-80lb for 20 anglers
The Condor returned with limits (124) of Bluefin, with 25 @100-200lbs for 30 anglers
The Fortune called in with LIMITS (72) of Bluefin tunawith the majorty being @ 25-60 lbs w/ 10 being 100 to 150 lbs
The Pacific Queen returned with LIMITS of Bluefin tuna for day 3 of their 3 day trip. Most fish were reported to be 25-50 pounds, They got into a school of larger Bulefin ranging from 120 to 180 lbs. They finished their limits with those. They also reported great weather and calm seas.
Tackle recommendations
25 pound outfit for Yellowtail fishing
40 to 60 pound outfit for day time fishing with smaller size jigs. 80 to 150 grams jigs
80 to 100 pound outfits for night time fishing with medium to larger 200 to 500 grams jigs.
