Howdy Y'all, it's Trejan on the Sunrise. Today we left the harbor at 6:30 and went 5 minutes west to set our crab pots. After we set the pots, we traveled 5 minutes north to our fishing grounds. We got 3 fish our first drift, 3 on our second, and 5 on our third. We continued to get 3-8 fish a drift, with rarely any drifts where we got less. We limited out on rockfish in about 3 hours and then we went Lincod fishing. While we were Lingcod fishing, we caught a few Cabezon that we had to through back because they are not in season. Near the end of the trip, we had to stop Lingcod fishing and go get our crab pots. We ended up with multiple crab per person and did better than anyone else crabbing today or yesterday. With the weather being perfect, with very little swell, it was a great day to be out on the ocean. Overall, it was a fantastic day for a fishing and an amazing day to be on the Sunrise.
