http://Tradewinds ChartersThe halibut opener was an interesting one. We left the dock with moderate ocean and wind conditions which posed a bit of a nuisance for our anglers. We fished windy island in depths of 850-950 ft. Our 13 anglers battled the elements and were able to scratch 9 halibut together for the day with big fish of the day being 47 inches, average fish being 34-36 inches. Black cod (sablefish) and deep water rockfish species were biting really well too. We go every week Thursday to Saturday so if you'd like to come try your hand at some of the tastiest fish around, book a trip with the kadaho and let's go get some "butts"!
