https://www.tradewindscharters.comThe Kimberly Ann ventured out the Friday morning May 27th on a 6am bottom. fish and crab trip. The ocean was not bad at all this morning but it did have a weird kinda washing machine feel to it but the current was just around a knot and that made for easy fishing this morning. We were fishing once again in our favorite spots up off the Lincoln City reefs in about 120-150 feet of water with heavy tackle. It was terrific fishing as well with only 1-Lingcod short of a full limit (Good) and a bunch of Canary rockfish with some other types to make up the rockfish limit (Good). Then we went crabbing and with five pots out there we pulled up only one lonely keeper crab out of all five pots (Awful).
No one I've I listened too had an idea about this crabbing but right now it is pretty bad. One thing that I know about crabbing here over the years "IT WILL" get better.
