Today was an absolute treat as the Morning Star was able to find a mother Gray Whale and her calf! Newborn Gray Whales are born already weighing a whopping 2,000 pounds at 14-16 feet long. The pair was fairly smitten with the boat and decided to stick with it for a little while. With summer right around the corner, sightings like these are going to become a regular occurance and it never gets old! Make sure you don't let this opportunity pass you......
