Pretty great on the Truckee River. 

Fishing has been on fire for the last few weeks. I don’t say that often. It got a bit hot, but cool and windy and raining today. Should be back in the 70’s next week, perfect. Not too hot yet.

Flows are just right, and them caddis started pop’n. Evenings will be very good for dry fly fishing on out. Good nymphing in the mornings. Trouts are spread out. Nymph in the pocket water and you should get some fish. Caddis, mayflies, yellow stones, crayfish, golden stones. Nymph with any of those. Green drakes outta be out this week. Nymph with them too. If it stays cool, we should have continued good fishing all month on the Truckee River.
