Streamers: Didn't Try

Ran a few trips down here the last couple of days to hide from the wind and it actually worked out pretty well. Depending on what stretch you fish, and what time you start you'll either be here in time for the Trico spinners which start to drop around 7:30-8 up higher on the river, or yesterday I went down lower and the minute we got there around 7 the PMDs were going off, and they were bigger like a size 14-16. Didn't see any Tricos at all really down lower for what that's worth. That wound down around 9 and then ramped back up again around 10:30 with another round of smaller PMDs, but closer to a size 18. There were a few giant (size 12) Caddis in the mix, and it's the only thing I saw fish rising for. Water was a little dirty down lower, with what I can only assume is the little bit of runoff we're still getting from Horton Creek. Water was very clear up below the dam though. Most of our fishing was under an indicator, and the takes are aggressive enough to where you really don't need the czech setup.
