Howdy y'all, it's Trejan on the Sunrise again. Today we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 20 passengers. We left the harbor at 6:30 again today, and proceeded to head north. Since we let our pots soak overnight, we went straight to our fishing spot. The bad news, is that on our first drift, we caught zero fish. The good news, is that it only got better from there. On our second drift, we caught 5 fish, and we caught 4 on the third. We continued to catch between 2-5 fish a drift. Occasionally though, we would have a drift where we would catch 10+ fish. It took most of our trip, but we ended up with our limits of rockfish. After we were done fishing, we went to go crabbing. Crabbing was good, and everyone got about 2 crab a person. After crabbing, we wrapped up our trip by heading back into the harbor. Overall, it was a beautiful day, and a great day to go fishing.
