The sightings continue! Being the Whale Watching Capital of the West Coast means we better know our stuff about cetaceans. What are cetaceans? That’s the scientific term for animals in the whale, dolphin, and porpoise category of marine mammals. From there we can break down the categories even farther into baleen and toothed whales.
