Hello everyone, well after a nice ride up last night, we arrived at the fishing grounds in the early morning hours, with high hopes of Wahoo and Dorado on our minds.
It didn't take long for us to find our first kelp. This kelp would get the rods bent, and the drags screaming. Not many Wahoos on it, but the Dorado wanted to play. Most of the dorado were in the 12-to-15-pound range, and the smaller ones we returned to the ocean. Once our kelp dried up, we were on the prowl again. It didn't take long to find the next hotel, with a few Dorado and a couple of Wahoo.
The Wahoo were all nice size, with the largest going close to 40 pounds. The rest of our day we would hit more kelps and end up with our daily limits of Dorado and 14 Wahoo for our efforts.
The weather was a bit chilly in the morning, with some rain clouds in the area, but no rain droops today. By mid-afternoon, the sun was out, and the breeze was just 5 to 8 knots, if that.
We will get closer to the beach and try to make a tank of mackerel for tomorrow, as we will be on the hunt for Yellowtail and may be some more Wahoo. So, until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p

We will arrive to our next distention in the early morning hours. We are geared up and ready to do battle......
