Crane Prairie is open and accessible again and we have heard good initial reports. Balanced or jigged leeches, two-bits, assassins, damsels, and zebra midges have been picking up fish. Stripping or wind drifting these same types of things has also been producing some fish. Throwing your nymphs under a large chubby or other stimulator is never a bad idea. The Reservoir is open until the end of this month so we have a few more weeks left to get after some fish on Crane.

The Lower Deschutes has been fishing well. Trout fishing remains good and nymphing will be your best bet for picking......
