The road is open all the way to the trailhead and there is snow on the ground. Flows in Lamoille Creek are low, about half of the long term median but there are fishable parts in beaver ponds and plunge pools. Fly fishermen can still try dries, but nymphing is probably the way to go where the water is deep enough. In the beaver ponds, small leech or wooly bugger patterns should work. Bait anglers can use small pieces of worm or PowerBait fished just below a clear bobber. Spin fishermen should use very small spinners, rooster tails or panther Martins. As of October 26, Lamoille Creek was flowing at 3.63 cfs.
