We have spent the first portion of our trip on the Ridge with a lot of action on small Tuna but it wasnt what we were looking for. We made our way to the lower end of the Ridge and we were able to catch a few Wahoo but we still couldnt find the better grade Yellowfin. We made one more adjustment yesterday morning and we got busy immidiately on beautiful grade Yellowtail. We had steady action on 18-35# fish all afternoon long. The best method to catch them was 100# test with a dropper loop and Yo Yo jigs. We stayed busy all afternoon and put together a great day. We did also manage to catch a few really nice Dorado in the mix as well. To top it off Chef John made an amazing Chicken Parmesan for dinner and we celebrated the birthday of our souis chef Luis. We are trying for more Yellows today and we have scratched up a nice morning. We will be making a move tonight to try a different location tomorrow. We will check in later.
