We departed on our Soft Steel 11 Day trip with an excellent load of bait and beautiful weather. We made our way south and our first destination was the Ridge. We spent our first travel day hosting seminars and getting everyone ready for action. Our first day of fishing was yesterday and what a way to start. As soon as we got the anchor down we had wide open fishing on 15-30# Yellowfin Tuna. It was as fast as you wanted to catch them for a few hours. When the guys got tired of pulling on Tuna they decided to drop down for Yellowtail and it paid off. We spent a lot of time picking away at Yellows that were mostly 12-20#s. Super fun fishing to say the least. We are getting our fill of school sized fish before we make a move south to try for trophys. We will check in later.
