Things are really shaping up on the River! Took a drive over Wholer Bridge this morning and the water looks fishable. 2-3' of viz and about 500 cfs. The Guerneville area or anything below Mark West Cr (Mirabel) is much darker from the Santa Rosa water but is starting to shape up. 900 cfs. No rain in the near term so there is the possibility of dropping under the minimum flow in the next week. There should be some late salmon, smaller steelhead and some early adults around so give it go!! Happy Hunting and Holidays!!

The river opened last Wednesday and not much happened except for a nice large mouth caught on a steelhead jig!!......

As of today the Russian is open to fishing!! Have at it and tight lines! Here is the river height......
