http://www.independencesportfishing.comHi everyone, we took the chance to look at a new area and it paid off for us. Found bluefin first thing in the morning. Didn't really know what to expect on the size of fish and think we were under gunned for a bit. Saw very good sign of 50 to 100 pound fish all day. Definitely had some opportunities and lost a few but ended up with 14 bluefin. Hoping they want to bite at night on flatfalls and knife jigs. Wish us luck

Hey everyone checking in from the ridge. We ended up taking off mid morning. Mostly everyone tagged what they wanted on yellowtail and yellowfin tuna so we are going to be running up the line in hopes of finding some bluefin tuna to end the trip We'll be traveling all day tomorrow and getting rigged up for bft to be in an area Thursday morning.
