It’s early for the Trask and winter steelhead

The Trask is a mostly catch-and-release river for winter steelhead, as there are no hatchery releases. It’s early for the Trask and winter steelhead numbers will likely be low, but there are a few steelhead around already.

The North Fork Trask is open to steelhead fishing from the mouth to Bark Shanty Creek until March 31, 2023. It is closed to all fishing upstream of Bark Shanty Creek until Mary 22, 2023.

The South Fork Trask is open to steelhead angling from the mouth to Edwards Creek until March 31, 2023. It is closed to all fishing upstream of Edwards Creek until May 22, 2023

Cutthroat trout fishing in streams closed on Oct. 31. It will reopen May 22, 2023.

Rogue River- Upper: The release from Lost Creek Reservoir is in the 1,048 cfs vicinity
Rogue River- Upper (Above Lost Creek): Trout releases are done for the year
Fourmile Lake: Snow is blocking access into Fourmile Lake
Klamath River - Upper - OR: Klamath River Fishing Report
Lake Of The Woods: The lake is freezing fast
North Fork Sprague River: Access is difficult due to snow
South Fork Sprague River: Fishing not recommended as snow is blocking most access points
Sycan River: Fishing not recommended due to extensive drought
