The river below Lake McCloud is looking clear enough to fish according to the turbidity gage just above the lake. Flows on the lower end of the river are right around 820 CFS, up at Ah-Di-Na they are just below 300 CFS. Traveling over the ridge down into Ah-Di-Na can be tricky in the wintertime. We have no reports on the status or condition of the road, so pack chains, a snow shovel and let someone know where you are headed if you decide to risk it. PG&E and the Forest Service will be working on the road down to Ash Camp to fix the slide. They are not permitting pedestrian traffic through the slide area.
