Captain Aliyar called in with a mid day update. They just came out of a daytime stop for 9 Bluefin in the 40lb range. These fish were all caught on flyline sardines. They are up to 40 Bluefin for their trip so far.
We had a great start to our 2 Day trip last night. Captain Aliyar checked in with 31 Bluefin Tuna from 40-110lbs! They had several good shots at some nice schools and were able to capitalize on an excellent grade of fish. The vertical jigs were producing most of the bites. They still have plenty of fishing time left and are hoping to add a few more to the count.
