The upper lake still has plenty of ice on it. The lower lake is thawing and the marina has been trying to break up the ice for the opening day. Call ahead for more information.

: HWY 88 Corridor Lakes Report
Red Lake: Still lots of snow over the lake
Caples Lake: Still large amounts of snow
Silver Lake: Currently 55 percent capacity
Woods Lake: Closed until Mid June
Blue Lake Lower: The road is open to the first gate
Indian Creek Reservoir: Not been plowed past the entrance
West Carson River (CA): The river was running clear and high
West Carson River (CA): The river is running very fast and muddy
Topaz Lake: The lake level has been dropping a little to accomodate for the snow melt
June Lake Loop: The four Loop lakes are still iced up except a few very small spots
Rush Creek: Opens The Saturday before Memorial Day

: Only a couple weeks away from the California opener on April 29th
Caples Lake: The lake had 6-8 feet of snow still covering it
Red Lake: The lake is still frozen with a couple feet of ice covering it
East Carson River (CA): East Carson River Report
West Carson River (CA): The flows were nice last week, but will increase as the weather warms up
Indian Creek Reservoir: The paved road had only one lane in and out
Topaz Lake: Topaz Lake Fishing Report
East Walker River - Walker River State Recreation Area: Wilson Canyon is now back open and repaved
Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area: The Walker river is open to fishing year round
Bridgeport Reservoir: The lake is high enough right now for the marina to be open for rentals and boat launching
