Yesterday the Sea Wolf had our annual Gary Kubo memorial trip. The Kubo family chartered boats way back in the 70’s fishing with my dad on the Wild Wave, Fiesta and the Huck Finn, Gary carried on the family tradition chartering boats like the New Huck Finn, C-Gull II and the Sea Wolf. Gary’s sister, Kelly and I are keeping the memories by taking friends and family out for good food, good company and with Gary looking over us, good fishing. We had beautiful weather in the bay all day and we finished up with 32 halibut and 23 striped bass for our 21 friends.
