Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Liberty called in with LIMITS (60) Bluefin Tuna, 63 Yellowfin Tuna and 3 Dorado! on their 1.5 day charter. 

The Dolphin AM trip caught 267 Rockfish and 1 Lingcond for for 54 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip caught 55 Rockfish and 2 Sand Bass for 38 anglers. 

The Bight 28 caught 36 Rockfish, 9 Barracuda, 6 Calico Bass, 4 Yellowtail, and 1 Bonito for 4 anglers on a Full Day trip. 

The Pacific Dawn has LIMITS (30)  Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowfin Tuna for 15 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

Lucky B Sportfishing caught 10 Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Bluefin Tuna on their Full Day trip for 2 anglers,

The Mustang called in with 47 Bluefin Tuna and 9 Yellowfin Tuna for 27 anglers on their overnight trip.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS (72) of Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowfin Tuna for 18 anglers on  their 2 day trip.

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS(100) of Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowfin Tuna for 25 anglers on their 3 day charter. 

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS (38) of Bluefin Tuna (25 to 40 lbs.) and 4 Yellowfin Tuna for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS (58) of Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowfin Tuna for 29 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander has LIMITS (54) of Bluefin Tuna and 25 Yellowfin Tuna so far on their 1.5 day charter with 27 anglers.  

The Condor returned this morning with LIMITS (36) of Bluefin Tuna (up to 60 lbs.), 8 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail for 9 anglers on a 2 day trip.
