Fishing action at Lake Mead has been on the slower side though there are reports of striped bass and black bass biting during the evening hours when recreational boating activity slows down and the water calms down. Plastics and crankbaits seem to be doing the trick. The crappie bite has been good in the Overton Arm. With the weather growing warmer, fish are looking for cooler water and shaded areas.
