Beginning next week, the water taxi will be closed on Tuesdays. It will run 8:00-6:00PM Wednesday-Monday (every ~30min) with a break from 1:00-2:00PM until further notice. For my money, the Yosemite High-Country/Hover Wilderness will continue to be amongst the best places to recreate locally for the balance of the season. The Water Taxi is back in action today! Recent rains have nurtured the foliage in 20 Lakes Basin and the hiking is prime. The lake itself is at its "natural" (pre dam) level. We hope to see you soon. ......
