Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Liberty caught LIMITS (68) Bluefin Tuna on their 2 Day charter for 17 anglers.

The Dolphin PM caught 30 Rockfish, 1 Halibut, 4 Sheephead, 19 Calico Bass (75 Calico Bass released), and 1 Sculpin for 45 anglers. 

The Mustang called in with 11 Bluefin Tuna on their Overnight private charter. 

The Dolphin AM returned this afternoon with 215 assorted Rockfish. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS (62) of Bluefin Tuna for 31 angler on a 1.5 day charter. 

The Islander is up to LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (up to 110 lbs.) for their 3 day trip. 

The Fortune called in with LIMITS (60) of Bluefin Tuna up to 120 lbs. for 15 anglers on their 2.5 day trip. 

The Pacific Dawn returned this morning with 44 Bluefin Tuna (19 @ 80 to 190 lbs.) for 12 anglers on a 3 day trip.

The Dolphin PM caught 18 Calico Bass/ 100 Calico Bass Released, 1 Barracuda, 23 Rockfish, 2 SheepHead for 25 anglers.

The Mustang caught 9 Bluefin on their Overnight rip for 13 anglers.

The Dolphin 1/2 AM caught 209 Assorted Rockfish for 38 anglers.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (150) of Bluefin Tuna for 25 anglers on a 3 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with LIMITS (26) of Bluefin Tuna for 13 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.
