The West is now running from about 680cfs to 780cfs depending on the time of the day, it’s steadily coming down but is still a bit tough. As with the East Walker if you search out the softer water and work the edges you might be able to pull some fish with spinners, bait or flies. It looks like it will still be a few weeks for the flows to come down enough for some good dry fly fishing, hopefully when they do the hoppers will still be out, if this turns out to be the case, stand by, the hopper/dropper action should be epic.
