Fishing Conditions

The good news: you will probably catch a fish on the Animas right now.  The bad news: it will probably be a micro 6″ stocked rainbow.  They stocked 100 billion or so.

May be time to fish a streamer.

Trico spinners may be showing up in the afternoons on the lower reaches.  Keep an eye on water temps and call it quits above 66 degrees, it has been getting warm in the afternoons.
