The Oceanside 95 returned from a 2.5 day trip with 167 Dorado, 10 Yellowfin Tuna, 4 Yellowtail, and 7 Bluefin Tuna (up to 90 lbs) for 11 anglers. The T-Bird came back this morning from a 1.5 day trip with 163 Dorado, 19 Yellowfin Tuna, 5 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowtail for their 25 Anglers. The T-Bird just confirmed next Saturday's over night trip departing 9-9-23 at 7pm is a WILL RUN FOR SURE! Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
