The El Capitan returned from a 1.5 day trip with 50 Yellowfin Tuna (22-35 lbs), 5 Bluefin Tuna, and 53 Dorado for 16 anglers.

Departing FRIDAY morning:

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
