The New Lo-An called in limits of Bluefin Tuna in the 30-40# range for day 1 of their three day charter.

The Oceanside 95 called in from their 1.5 day trip at 11:30 today with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (32) for their 16 Anglers.

Daily Double • 1/2 Day AM • 26 anglers • 59 Sculpin, 17 Bonito, 16 Barred Sand Bass, 2 Whitefish, 1 Sheephead 

Mission Belle • Full Day • 25 anglers • 30 Bluefin Tuna, 13 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Dorado 

New Lo-An • 3 Day • 17 anglers • 58 Bluefin Tuna (up to 202 pounds)

Upcoming trips

The Point Loma added a full day offshore trip for 9/29. Trip price is $240 and includes the mexican permit. The boat departs at 6 am and returns at 6pm (arrival time could be later). Please arrive at least 1 hour before departure. No passport or passport card needed. (BOOK HERE)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local Trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trips departing every day at 8:30 AM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for Bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
