Colder weather has started to take its toll on the river. Slower pools are beginning to ice over and redband trout will likely be feeding less as water temps drop.
Fly-fishing with beadheads is probably your best bet throughout the day with less dry fly action as fall continues. Casting small lures across current can also catch redband trout if fished correctly.
