Cooler temperatures are resulting in increased success rates for trout anglers at Jakes Creek Reservoir.  Water levels remains in good shape providing shoreline anglers with a bit of a respite from the annual weeds. For the best fishing, try getting completely out of the weed beds with a float tube or small boat. Trout are averaging 9-to-14 inches. PowerBait, worms and spinners are all producing fish.
