This is one spot you will be able to target rising fish nearly year 'round, and the lake has had consistent hatches of Blue Wing Olives lately that have fish looking up. The most productive offerings are Baetis and midge nymphs now fished under a small dry. Sweet Peas, the light BP Weiss Nymphs, and #18 olive S&M nymphs are all good. The Trico hatch is ongoing with spinners in the morning drawing fish to eddies just off the current. The Drowned Trico is always a good bet here under a small dry or indicator. Tricos are on the horizon, so the TB Drowned Trico should be in your box right next to all of your Zebra Midges. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
